 Mountain Rose Apples are a truly unique variety of Apple. A Japanese heirloom breed which is extremely rare and limited. They are currently only grown in the Mt Hood River Valley of Oregon. The most defining and distinctive characteristic of this apple is the fact that they are bright red all the way through, they are apples answer in autumn to the succulent strawberry of summer. The color is consistent and maintains its striking brightness even after being cooked. With a flavor profile which varies between slightly sweet and mildly tart, and an aroma of strawberries and cotton candy they won’t disappoint.
